Steve is the founder and CEO of Spur Interactive, a strategic interactive marketing agency that specializes in digital marketing and advertising.  In this role Steve has planned and managed interactive campaigns for leading brands, including FedEx Kinko's, ConocoPhillips, Southwest Airlines, The Scooter Store and Amegy Bank to name a few.

Recognizing an unmet need for interactive marketing services, Steve started Spur Interactive in 2002 to help companies better utilize digital media to grow their business.  Over the past 7 years, Spur Interactive has grown from 1 to 20+ professionals, establishing itself as a thought leader in digital media while helping global leaders and mid-market challengers use the Web to produce compelling and measurable results. 
Steve is an accomplished industry lecturer, speaking 10+ times annually at various industry and business events including Search Engine Strategies, Online Marketing Summit and Interactive Strategies.  Steve’s articles have been published by MediaPost, Online Media Daily, iMedia Connection, Marketing News and Bizjournals.com to name a few.

Steve is an active member of the business and non-profit community.  Steve is the founder and Chairman of the Houston Interactive Marketing Association, co-founder and leader of the national Interactive Marketing Alliance, and a Board Member of the American Advertising Federation - Houston, Houston Technology Center and Prepared 4 Life. Steve was recently selected to be one of 12 recipients of Cadillac’s “Texas Spirit” Award and is featured at www.khou.com/txspirit.
