Dipl.-Ing. Henning Lensch, Architect, is Managing Partner of RRP architects+engineers as well as CEO of DANDCA, Design+Consult Alliance for Healthcare Projects, in Munich, Germany. He is member of VBI, German
Association of Consulting Engineers as well as AKG Architects for Hospitals
and Healthcare Services in the Association of German Architects,
Berlin, Germany. Since 2007, Mr. Lensch is the Chairman of the Hospital Planning Group in the VBI, association of German consulting engineers. Since 2009, Mr. Lensch is member of the Public Health Group in the UIA.
As an expert for healthcare and green building design, he is taking care of healthcare projects in Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa, a couple of them Award winning projects, for both private and public clients and organisations. Recently, Mr. Lensch is taking care of several retrofitting and new building projects in Indonesia, India, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, for donor financed projects in Africa, Central Asia as well as in Germany.
The range of projects of Mr. Lensch is covering Acute Care Hospitals, General Hospitals, Psychiatric Hospitals, Teaching Hospitals as well as Home for the Elderly, Preventive Service Centre and special departments as Cord Blood Banks. Mr. Lensch is also working as a consultant for design review and international standards, especially also with the focus on energy saving concepts and green buildings. His projects are published in books about hospital projects worldwide. Mr. Lensch is an often invited speaker at international hospital conference, e.g. IHF, Arab Health Dubai, World Architecture Congress Asia, Singapore etc. and lectures at leading Universities in Europe, US and Asia.
