Dr. Lorna Friedman is a Partner in Mercer’s Global Health Management practice, working with diverse multinational employers on strategies and programming to improve employee health.

Prior to joining Mercer, she spent over a decade at CIGNA. Her responsibilities included strategic planning for emerging markets and evaluating global health systems. Dr. Friedman has received several awards for both scholarly contributions and community service .She was inducted into the YWCA of New York's Academy of Women Leaders in 2004 and serves on several boards including, The Columbia University Health Alliance, The American Council of Exercise, The Global Health Benefits Institute and the Hear Me Project, a creative writing campaign on HIV for at risk youth sponsored by MTV.
