Dr. Hung-Che Chiang

Dr. Hung-Che Chiang first received his bachelor degree in pharmacy from Kaohsiung Medical University in 1977 and Master of Science in tropical medicine before he pursued a medical degree from National Cheng-Kung University in 1989 and later a Ph.D. degree from Kaohsiung Medical University in 2004.
With the specialties of public administration, environmental health, and occupational medicine, Chiang has remarkable experiences in many different areas. In 1995~2003, he worked as General Manager and later Vice President of the Bureau of National Health Insurance. He was recruited by Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospitalas Vice Superintendent in between years 2003~2006, and worked as physician and professor until the recruitment of National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) in 2009. He was appointed as Investigator with the Division of Environmental Health and Occupational Medicine and the Secretary General inNHRI. Since 2011, he serves as Deputy Minister in the Department of Health,Executive Yuan to provide his broad view in health policy administration.
