Principal Managing Partner for Texas Benefit, an independent insurance and financial service brokerage firm located in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Polanco started the firm in 1993 and services multi-state accounts within three divisions. Employee Benefit Division managing fully insured and self-insured health plans along with other products such as Dental, Life and Disability Insurance. Property & Casualty Division offers Workers Compensation, General Liability and other business insurance needs. The Financial Services Division implements and maintains a variety of retirement and investment venues. He has been actively involved in educating his community on the benefits of Medical Tourism.

Retired after 23 years from the U.S Navy as a Lieutenant Commander and held responsibilities as a Healthcare Administrator and Environmental Health. Also enjoyed 10 years experience as a commercial banker specializing in executive and professional banking relations.

Active as an Advisory Board Member of the Center for Medical Tourism Research; Board Member on the Free Trade Alliance; Member of both San Antonio Health Underwriters Association and the National Health Underwriters Association; Committee Member on San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Cum Laude Graduate in Biology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas.
