Ana Andrade

Health Net Latino Programs
Ana Andrade is Vice President for Health Net's Latino Programs. In this capacity, Ms. Andrade is responsible for leading the assessment, development and implementation of culturally relevant initiatives that meet the needs of the Latino market segment. Under her leadership, Health Net of California developed and launched Salud con Health Net, an innovative family of products designed to provide affordable quality care for Latinos and their families in California and Mexico.
In 2006 with collaboration from the Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles, Ms. Andrade led the development of a first of its kind cross-border portfolio of individual and family products. MexiPlan is one of those products and is specifically designed to meet the needs of the uninsured and underinsured Mexican immigrant population of Southern California.
Ms. Andrade is a frequent speaker on cross-border health care issues and has participated in numerous binational health policy forums.
Prior to assuming responsibilities for the Latino Programs, Ms. Andrade served as associate vice president for Product Development and Management at Health Net. In this role, she was responsible for planning and directing the development and implementation of new and enhanced products.
Prior to joining Health Net, she spent over fifteen years at Blue Cross of California in various management positions including manager of provider services and provider contracting.
Ms. Andrade has more than 20 years of experience in the managed care industry.
